On June 10, 2025, Newtrend Group Holding Co., Ltd. (“Newtrend Group”, stock code: 02573.HK) was successfully listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The H-share offering was priced at HK$18.9 per share and attracted significant market interest, with the public offering tranche oversubscribed by approximately 149.37 times.

Founded in 2006, Newtrend Group is a global leader in the production of food additives, specializing in the research, production, and sales of food-grade glycine and sucralose. With a client network spanning approximately 40 countries across six continents, Newtrend has established itself as a benchmark enterprise in the industry. According to data from CIC (China Insights Consultancy), the company ranked first globally in 2023 in terms of both sales volume and revenue for food-grade glycine, with market shares of 5.1% and 3.1%, respectively. In the sucralose sector, Newtrend ranked among the global top five producers with market shares of approximately 4.8% (by volume) and 4.5% (by revenue), and is notably the only Chinese sucralose producer with a manufacturing facility overseas. The company holds multiple internationally recognized certifications (including ISO and FSSC 22000) and core patents, with high technological barriers and product performance that meets international standards. It continues to provide high value-added solutions for global industries such as food and beverage.

In connection with the H-share listing, Concord & Sage PC was engaged to provide U.S. legal services to Newtrend Group. Our firm conducted legal due diligence on Newtrend’s U.S. subsidiary and issued the corresponding legal opinion to assist the company in meeting foreign regulatory requirements.
