Attorney Zhiwei Hua is licensed to practice law in the U.S. states of New York, the District of Columbia, and Texas. He specializes in commercial law and intellectual property litigation. On the commercial law side, as lead counsel, he has extensive experience in the initial public offerings of Chinese concept stocks on NASDAQ. On the intellectual property law side, as lead counsel, he actively conducts IP litigation before courts such as the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
In addition, Attorney Hua is also highly proficient in legal research. Prior to earning his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, he worked for the law school's Center for Social Justice, where he conducted legal research, compiled data, and published several articles in social justice journals. After graduation, he continued to work at the Center for another year, during which he participated in the completion of a criminal sentencing research project for Cuyahoga County.
